OZ Optics offers a wide range of standard and custom fiber optic components for optoelectronic packaging. Components include collimators, focusers, patchcords, connectors, and metalized fiber. The low backreflection collimators and focusers are available for a wide range of industry-standard connectors and wavelengths. The hermetically sealable patchcords, with glass or metal solder, and metalized fiber meet high Telcordia standards. The polarization maintaining patchcords and connectors use our specially designed ferrules that minimize insertion loss, backlash, and rotational errors.

OZ Optics now offers the silicon optical bench platform (SOBP), a technology that allows construction of miniature optical subsystems onto a single silicon chip. SOBP provides many optical, electronic, and manufacturing advantages over previous methods of production of opto-electric devices.
